Legislative Coalition Members

The Maryland Legislative Coalition is an affiliation of grassroots groups and individuals throughout the state.  Listed below are the Member grassroots groups that form the Coalition.  MLC also partners with NGOs such as Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America – MD,  Maryland Healthcare for All!, Strong Schools Maryland, ACLU of Maryland, and CASA Maryland to help advocate for their causes.  Environmental partners are listed here. Each year, MLC’s legislative agenda is developed with the input from these Members and Partners.

There is no requirement that our Members support all the bills on our legislative agenda.  Member groups are free to determine and prioritize what bills they will individually support.  However, when the Coalition acts publicly to support a particular bill, such as writing a letter or submitting testimony, the Member groups and Partner NGOs are asked if they want to be identified along with MLC to lend more voices of support.
